Glen Affahr and Braevar
Glen Affahr from the summit of Ben Affahr showing Braevar Tower and the surrounding crofts. In front of the tower is clan chief Icann MacItallop, his wife, daughter and a few retainers. At the landing stage we can just about make out Lord Elpus landing with his Grenadiers and colour party.
The glen is quiet and the people peacefully making a living fishing, crofting, raising cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. Of course it also the home of the famous Glen Affahr single malt whisky.
