It is all my brother's fault! I visited him with our three grandsons. He had bought Project Z by Warlord Games so we all played a game and the boys liked the idea of it though the rules were hard for them to follow. So "we" bought it and also two extra Zombie Horde boxes. Grandad found he had the old Wargames factory male and female survivors and a lot of metal figures for his other games (Doctor Who etc) that could be used.
After a while we found we were spending too much time figuring out the bespoke dice and some rules mechanisms confusing and difficult to remember so we changed to Akula's Rules available for free here on his Blog if you have difficulty finding them email me on info@morvalearth.co.uk .
Our games are set in Dedburgh. This is a UK setting where there are fewer firearms so games tend to be more silent tactical than noisy violent - at least until the later stages!
